Crescent Saxophones  |  Sound Samples

Below are a few sound samples by professional saxophonists on their own Just Saxes Crescent saxophones (soprano, alto and tenor), and one by myself (alto). In all cases but the last, the sound recording itself was done via the onboard mic of a video camera, so the audio resolution isn't the greatest. If you would like to hear higher resolution sound samples, I do have a few files (with lesser playing -- mine -- but higher quality mic and recording set-up), and will be happy to email mp3 files by request.

Update 1/18/10: recorded a small file of the Crescent alto prototype in a "saxophone quartet" type of format, with all four saxophones being the same Crescent alto with a vintage Meyer 5M mouthpiece (bare saxophone, no processing or effects added):
